I ordered my chair with a fairly odd option, the Chrome base (it's gorgeous by the way, get it). They took my order and processed it. Then, on the shipping day I got a call from them to let me know that Herman Miller sent a chrome base that did not pass their quality inspection, they would order another but wanted to let me know that there would be a few days of delay. This was fantastic! Yes, my chair was slightly delayed but it was delayed because they care enough to quality control every aspect of their process! Any other vendor would have said, "Ship it" and let me complain to Herman Miller, but not OfficeDesigns.com. They took care of it proactively and took responsibility for their customer. This is TOPS in my book and exactly what you want when buying a quality chair.

"I just received my order of two Aeron office chairs and I'm so very happy with them that I thought I would share some of my thoughts regarding this transaction:

On Monday, May 13, I ordered two Aeron Highly Adjustable office chairs (with optional leather arm rests) for my home office. Prior to placing the order, I spoke with Randy Lowe and was surprised to learn that the chairs that I wanted would ship the same day -- even with the optional leather arm rests.
I was told that shipping time to my location (Los Angeles) was typically 3-4 days, so I thought I would receive the order no earlier than Friday. I received the chairs on Thursday, May 16.

The shipping boxes were compact and quite easy to maneuver. The contents were well-packed and protected for transport. Attaching the backrest to the base was a snap, using the allen wrench provided. The chairs were assembled, stripped of packing material and rolled into place in just a few minutes.

My wife and I love our new Aeron chairs. The leather arm rests really add a touch of class that is lacking on the Aeron I use at work (which, as I have recently determined, is very well-worn).

As you can tell, I very happy with my experience with OfficeDesigns.com. If I have any future needs, I will surely do business with you again. If I know anyone who is looking for an Aeron, or has other office needs, I will surely refer them to you. Great stock, no tax, free shipping, excellent service -- I wish all Internet companies were just like yours!
